How to bandos like a pro

GEAR SETUP:

c01cb1f057bc449dc4bce6c95a27ccec.png

Ring can be swapped out for berserker ring

Inventory setup:

5eb069cc27236e8e973c78a214d28cd8.png

This inventory setup I find works best. I recommend having an sgs but a crystal hally works just fine.

Prayers:

5a7cf5d01e448cd6b3908ca6506e023b.png

This works best as you get max dps, and allows you to not risk your dfs at bandos incase you die.

hope this helps, and gl!

I think everyone could benefit from a list of useful tips to enhance the players' experience on Amulius and on the forums.

I'd encourage everyone to write anything they can think of to benefit someone else, whether it's the very basic command, or an interesting game mechanic to boost trips at bosses. My idea is a sort of a super long list of things that would benefit anyone from the brand new player to a 5 year vet.

This thread is open to anyone who wishes to add their own tips/advice as long as their post remains within the boundaries of the rules.

TIPSTRICKS, AND USEFUL THINGS TO KNOW

  • You cannot use '/' in a message in-game, use '\' instead.
  • You need at least level 75 in every combat stat (except Prayer) to use a Creature Combat Potion.
  • Sending '/' in-game will re-send your most recent clan-chat message, yell message, or command in-game. The server saves your most recent message and sending '/' will load it again.
  • You need to be at least a Premium member to wield the Ring of Charos (a)
  • Anyone can wield the Ring of Charos.
  • Doing ::topic [ID] will lead you to the forum post with the corresponding topic number. This number can be found in the URL of the post. This topic is 42. ::topic 42 will take you here.
  • You can use ::resize in-game to make the client window resizable, allowing you to maximize the window (fullscreen gameplay)
  • ::fixed in-game sets the client back to the fixed size.
  • Staff are there to help you! Do not be afraid to ask a question if you have one!
  • You can add special forum-code elements to your posts by using the Special BBCode located to the left of Font/Size
  • Amulius features every trainable skill except Construction.
  • If you find a bug in-game, you can report it to the Owner/Developer with ::reportabug in-game. You will be redirected to a page where you can explain the bug and get it fixed ASAP.
  • Staff members cannot spawn items, set skill levels, etc. Please do not ask them to. (This excludes Developers)
  • Amulius is a 317 revision server.
  • If you have a Donator rank in-game, you can request it to display under your profile pictures on the forums under the Rank Request board
  • The High Alchemy spell has a chance to do up to 15 damage per cast. This spell can kill you; be careful!
  • Doing ::commands in-game will show an interface of all commands available for you to use, as well as a description of each.
  • You can teleport to every city by using the Home teleport spell and clicking a lodestone on the interface that appears.
  • Guthan's armor is very beneficial when grinding bosses. Using Guthan's at Saradomin, for example, can get you over 200+ kills per trip!
  • You can play on the Hardcore Ironman gamemode by creating a Hardcore account and 'reverting' to Ironman by talking to Paul.
  • Rare drops are announced globally, to the entire server. Congratulations!
  • You can only have one clue scroll at a time.
  • You can get the quest cape by completing every single Achievement in the game.
  • You can receive the tier 4 Achievement Armour set by completing every single achievement AND achieving all 99s.
  • Amulius has its own Discord server, click here for the link!
  • Lord Daquarius at the ::shops area can decant your potions.

Player-added tips:
  • The ::Resize feature, when you log out and back in you go back to Fixed screen.
  • Wilderness agility course requires level 1 agility to use instead of 49.
  • Good to know, is you can Alch while you are crafting, and while you are fishing. it wont interrupt either of those actions.
I hope to see this list grow, and I hope we can find a way to benefit at least every player!
